Incorporated in Turin on August 3rd 2011 at Studio Notarile Angelo Chianale in Turin.
Midori is an innovative SME that designs, produces and sells smart metering and energy analysis instruments, addressed to companies and private citizens, with the main objetive of extracting detailed information on disaggregate energy consumption. Midori’s services are a mix of technologic and social innovation, the result of the union between high competency in the ICT and signal processing world and a strong inclination to the analysis of social needs in the energy world.
The research and development actiivies consist essentially in the design and implementation of models that describe the functioning and consumption of home appliances. Notably the R&D team at Midori has studied and developed an innovative software for the identification and separation of electricity loads, included in NED and based upon data analytics and machine learning elements. The company has long availed itself of the continued cooperation of the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, with which it has opened various research collaborations and gave life to 4 scientific publications and 5 research master theses. Midori has invested over EUR 800,000 in research and development for its products with the features currently available to the customers.
